Guest reviews
Exceptional
Unpleasant with unpleasant staff
Liked: Location
Disliked: When booking it was not made clear that there was a bedlinen charge. It did come through on the confirmation if you scrolled all the way to the bottom and read the small print, but we booked last minute and were on a motorcycle so no chance of seeing it whilst riding. The staff were rude and insisted we paid cash (extra €15) it was late in the day and we tried to cancel but they refused on the app in front of us. We reluctantly agreed to leave cash on the table when we left. Then mid evening our privacy was disturbed when they sent their kids to collect the cash. How rude. The pillows also smelt which made for an unpleasant nights sleep. There was no shampoo or shower gel, the liquid soap had been watered down, and there was almost zero toilet roll so we had to ask for more. To top it off the parking space opposite was a challenge to load/unload the motorcycle as it was covered in dog poop. Overall an unhappy experience not helped by very unhelpful owners/staff
Excellent
Liked: We had a lovely stay, the appartment is extra nice and the host was really warm and welcoming! Excellent position and a lot of extra comfort. Highly recommended, we will be back for sure.
Good
Disliked: more information about how to collect the keys was required.
Great location to explore surrounding area
Liked: Location and spatious apartment.Communication was clear and we enjoyed our stay.
Superb
Good - but be aware that the apartment can smell of pets
Liked: I stayed here before and the location, great value for money and general facilities are great! It is basically located directly in the town center of La Roche. Everything you need is within walking distance. Parking in front is free as well, although you have to be a little lucky with finding a parking spot.
Disliked: There was quite an intense dog smell when I entered the apartment. For people who own dogs it's great that they can bring a dog to this apartment. For me personally, it was not that great. As it was quite an intense smell, it did have a negative impact on me enjoying my stay.
