A genuine standout place for couples interested in discovering Liège

Liked: A wonderfully renovated guest house with a clear eye for detail, cleanliness, and design. Both bedroom and bathroom were immaculately maintained (as was everything else). The common rooms (kitchen, courtyard, salon, and rooftop) were well-equipped and super cozy, which instantly made us feel at home. If the weather permits, don’t skip out on taking your breakfast (Tip: grab a delicious quiche or gorgeous pastries just around the corner at the artisanal bakery Chez Matteo) to the rooftop garden to enjoy the sunrise and view (or enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine)! Taking those stairs to the fourth floor is definitely worth it! The room was also equipped with what must be the largest info binder we’ve seen in a long time. Kudos to the owners for personally putting in the work to bundle this wealth of info, including recommendations for restaurants they’d personally tried. The location couldn’t possible be better. Whether you’re interested in seeing the sights, strolling down the historical center, or you want to be close to public transport, Bonjour Pierreuse is right at the heart of it all, while simultaneously offering a tranquil retreat from the buzzing metropole that is Liège. Price/Quality, this place was right on the dot and we’ll certainly return when visiting the city anew.

If you want a place that is clean and close to attractions of Liege you should stay here

Liked: What a find. A lovely home, very close to everything. There is a good sized kitchen, a beautiful sitting room and a roof garden that has some amazing views. Our host Ann helped with our enquiries and we had a fantastic two nights here. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Disliked: I would say that anyone with difficulty climbing stairs would find it an issue here.

A hotel standard hideaway with all the character of an old Liege neighborhood

Liked: Second time staying here and it remains excellent. Couple of minutes walk from one of the train stations, a brief walk to one of the busy areas for bars and restaurants, but tucked away up a quiet street you will have a quiet night's sleep. The furnishings, finishes and facilities are top quality throughout and there's always good coffee available. Communal areas are lovely for groups. Thanks so much for another wonderful stay.

Disliked: If you have mobility problems you will probably struggle with the stairs at the back of the house to the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms - especially with luggage, the top room at the back is not for the faint hearted! I love the original stairs and it's very much part of the charm, but be sure to tell the host if you need the more easily accessed rooms at the front of the house.

    Absolut phantastisch

Liked: We give the accommodation 10 out of 10 stars. We felt completely at home. The room was cosy and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The walk-in shower was also very spacious, which was a plus. The shared kitchen is fully equipped and also very tastefully furnished. Everything was extremely clean. There were two highlights for us: the ‘green’ lounge at the back of the house and the beautiful garden on the 4th floor. The accommodation is very centrally located on a small street steeped in history. There is a great bakery (wonderful croissants) and an in-house patisserie within walking distance. We were able to reach all the sights in the area on foot. Our host Ann was always available to offer advice and assistance. We will definitely be back.
