  I like it

  Liked: The hotel is pleasant and it has all that is needed. Next to the cathedral, very nice location. Good breakfast. It was a period, when hotels in Brussels were crowded and this was an affordable solution with easy daily access to Brussels.

  Disliked: It is a bit far from the railway station. There is a bus not far from the hotel going to the railway station in few minutes, but the other way round be careful. It has a complicated routing, it is better to ask the driver first.

  Convenient, central location, but nearby church bells disrupted early morning slumber

  Liked: Convenient, central location in Mechelen. Good-sized single room with an en-suite and a comfortable bed. I was visiting friends and also attending Maanrock.

  Disliked: The music from the Maanroock stages kept me awake until around 2 am. Though the central location of the hotel was convenient, it was also close to a church. The church bells were rung from 4 am and every hour, on the hour - at least that's what occurred on Sunday. The morning after my one-night stay. This disturbed my sleep a lot, as I was woken every hour.

  Disliked: Nice hotel, and very friendly people. But breakfast is horribly expensive - went into town to get something to eat.

  Liked: Great location, nice appartement, clean and tidy. Also, AC is available. Big TV.

  Disliked: The only downside is that we can hear the church ringing every hour so it woke us up. No shampoo, just body wash.

  I would stay here again. Really good location, just off the main square and short walk from river

  Liked: Staff were really helpful and friendly

  Disliked: Coffee wasn't brilliant. The Capuccino was too weak. Tried doing an Epresso with milk from the fridge but the result was cold.

  Good hotel, but needs a few key-based improvements

  Liked: Great location, well cleaned. Good amenities, wifi and private bathroom. The staff is friendly and the hotel was overall quiet.

  Disliked: The virtual keys are buggy. When asked the staff told me they left keys for everyone behind an unmanned counter, meaning anyone could walk off with YOUR room key.
