Exceptional
Great value for a two-bedroom apartment
Liked: Big, bright, very clean. Well supplied kitchen. Elevator very convenient. Quiet neighborhood und building very close to train station and city center.
Disliked: Shower room smelled like defective drain. No parking on site, although it says so in the listing. Parking 200 meters away at the train station costs 5€/day, which is all manageable, just unexpected.
Mechelen is a lovely city
Liked: Proximity to centre. Quite easy to find Space
Disliked: Felt like we ‘kicked’ someone out of their apartment!! Bathroom plugs drained poorly due to clogged hair in drains. Fridge had someone’s food in it
Liked: The appartment was fully equiped, also all appartment was really clean and the location was also perfect
Disliked: Stairs are narrow and steep
Liked: The location is close to city center, the train station of mechelen and supermarket too. Parking area also easy to reach from the apartment.
Disliked: Only the wifi wasn’t work during our stay.
Great place but parking was not as promised in description
Liked: Property was great, very comfortable and roomy. Close enough to the center of town.
Disliked: We booked this specifically because it said free parking on site, but this was not true. There was nothing on site and the only free parking was a 12 min walk away (assuming no luggage to carry, which we did have). The local parking situation was complicated and needed a permit/disc which of course we didn’t have. Ultimately we found a paid parking lot near by but had to download an app and a rate plan. While the owner did respond to questions, it was far from what was advertised.
Exceptional
Liked: The appartment is fully equipped, spacious and clean, it was absolutely perfect for our stay with 3 friends.
Disliked: There wasn't anything we didn't like, it's absolutely perfect, also for a couples get away in Belgium
