Pleasant
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Hygiene, Minimal Comfort and Unacceptable Customer Service
Disliked: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Hygiene, Minimal Comfort and Unacceptable Customer Service My impression is that this company is far more interested in collecting as much money as possible from its customers than in providing a decent accommodation experience. Once you have paid and booked, you are practically ignored. Cleanliness and hygiene were shocking: The room was dirty upon arrival, with dust everywhere. The floors were so sticky and filthy that I had to wear slippers at all times.Surfaces throughout the room felt greasy and poorly cleaned. An empty soap bottle had been left in the shower. The shower was broken. No basic amenities were provided: no soap, coffee, sugar or other essentials. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for an entire week's stay! For €700 per week, these conditions are simply unacceptable. Basic hygiene and cleanliness should never be considered luxuries. To make matters worse, there was constant noise from a construction site in the neighbouring building, making it extremely difficult to enjoy any peace or comfort. However, the most disturbing part of my experience was the way I was treated by the company's management. I needed to extend my stay by three nights and made an additional reservation through Booking.com. What should have been a straightforward extension turned into a completely unnecessary dispute. During a telephone conversation, a member of staff insisted that I should book directly through their website, even though doing so would have cost me approximately €200 more than the price available on Booking.com. When I explained that I had already made the reservation through Booking.com, I felt that the attitude towards me changed completely. I find this treatment astonishing, particularly from a business operating in the hospitality industry, where respect, communication and customer satisfaction should be fundamental priorities. But not important for this company!
Okay - but with issues
Liked: It's good value for money, the location is great and I like the little kitchenette.
Disliked: I had a problem with the heating. It's underfloor heating. It was too hot, I couldn't sleep well. They sent a link through my email to change the temperature, but the link didn't work. I contacted the manager who came in; but she couldn't do anything and advised me to keep the balcony door open. I didn't feel safe sleeping with the balcony door open.
Liked: Spacious. Conveniantly located.
Disliked: There was cutlery but no spoons for some reason.
Great location for Tomorrowland
Liked: Location and parking
Disliked: 1 small pillow
Comfortable stay
Liked: Location to where we were travelling to
Disliked: Lift out of order
Good!
Liked: The view! The location!
Disliked: You can see through the panoramic windows from the road and the poor insulation of the windows makes the room noisy. Also, in room 101 which is right next to the elevator you can hear the creaking of the elevator and every time the doors open or the hallway is cleaned.
Good to know
