Our favourite place in Mons
Liked: This is the third or fourth time we've stayed here, and that tells you everything you need to know. Admission was via key box, and Serge sent us all the info well in advance, so we could get in easily. All the rooms are frankly sumptuous, with lovely, comfortable beds, splendid bathrooms and they even have air conditioning, which is useful in summer. The house itself is an old "hotel particulier" which has been done up with style and care, with a shared kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need to make your dinner or breakfasr, although we simply went to the bakery a couple of hundred yards down the road (turn right on coming out of the gate.) And it's an easy walk up to the town square, which is where the restaurants and cafes are. Serge also provides a list of his recommended places, so you can always find somewhere decent to eat.
Disliked: Not a thing. Everything is simply excellent.
Would stay here again without hesitation

Disliked: It's a little tricky to find initially, perhaps using "what3words" or having a prominent sign might help!
