A reasonable place to stay to be able to visit Waterloo
Liked: Did what it says on the tin. It's an Ibis in Waterloo
Disliked: There was no kettle etc for making a coffee in the room.
Comfortable hotel
Liked: Comfortable rooms, clean and modern bathrooms. Excellent breakfast with wide range of food. Good bar with a selection of beers. Helpful staff. Location only 5-10 mins walk from the centre of town, and 20 mins walk from the station.
Disliked: Woefully under-staffed in the evening with only one staff member on duty. At one point, there were six people queuing to check in, two guests waiting with some issues, two people waiting for service at the bar and two more waiting to order food. Not the fault of the staff member who rushed around apologetically trying to deal with everyone as quickly as possible, but an issue for Ibis to address.
Great quality for money
Liked: Good for the price. Parking available on site. Ok breakfast.
Disliked: Looks outdated. Basic breakfast.

Good accommodation, needs a rethink on pricing structure and definitely quality
Liked: Beautiful room, very clean, spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Although the breakfast had reasonable choice, I thought 18 euros a day was extortionate, my son had a piece of toast and a pan au chocolate, was not not value for money, it’s more geared for the very healthy appetite. One evening I tried something off the menu I went for a tikka masala, within five minutes the receptionist made and brought it out to me, it was microwave meal for 17 euros, not impressed.
