Exceptional
A perfect stay
Liked: The apartment is ideally located a couple of minutes from Ypre's main square, perfect for all amenities. Katie and Philippe have thought of everything when furnishing the accommodation. The apartment is comfortable, clean and stylishly decorated. We met Katie in passing and mentioned that the toaster wasn't working. Within 10 minutes it was replaced. We made use of the garage which is located just across the road behind a secure gate. This is our 3rd stay in the Belfort apartment and it never disappoints.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
Great accommodation near to everything
Liked: Location was excellent, a few yards from shops, restaurants & the Menin Gate (for the last post )
A little beauty
Liked: The apartment has been beautifully renovated. It is modern, and comfortable whilst retaining some of the original character. The location is excellent, right in the center of Ypres and close to everything. The apartment has all the facilities needed to be self sufficient for cooking etc. I would highly recommend this and definitely stay again.
Disliked: It wasn't a problem for us but there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so an elderly person may find access restrictive.
A comfortable stay in a great location
Liked: Great location, clean and comfortable property suitable for 2. Kitchenette was very handy for our longer stay. Small enclosed courtyard was handy for drying washing and sitting. Ground floor so we didn’t have to climb steps to higher apartments. Katie and Phillipe met us at the train station which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel
Disliked: Only a small cupboard for hanging clothes so had to live out of our bags. No ice making facility so had to buy it from nearby night market. No air conditioning so stuffy at times. Microwave wasn’t working.
Fantastic stay—our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
Liked: The location of this apartment could not have been better—it is incredibly central and perfectly situated for exploring the local Battlefield sites. Katie and Philippe provided absolutely everything we could have needed for our stay. Philippe gave us a warm welcome, showed us around the place, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for local places to eat and drink. After long days of sightseeing, the super comfy beds were exactly what we needed. It’s a wonderful, relaxing place to unwind and get a great night's sleep. We highly recommend staying here!
Disliked: We have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay whatsoever, apart from wishing it could have been longer! Highly recommend.
WW1, Memen Gate had my Great Uncles name on it
Liked: The shower was great. The location was great. Katie came over to explain things to me, she was lovely.
Disliked: Do the weather was very warm but the inside of the apartment was nice.
