Exceptional
Unheated apartment during a cold winter month, poor communication from host, no TV or WiFo
Liked: The location of the apartment was very good, just a short walk to the main square. Sadly that is the only positive we have.
Disliked: The heating in the apartment was not on when we arrived, access to the heating system was behind a locked door so we were unable to turn it on, we tried to contact the host but they would not respond. So we were left to sleep in a very cold apartment during late November. In addition when we arrived there was no TV in the apartment, despite this being advertised. Please also be aware that check in is 16:30 and check-out is 10:00, I asked to check-in 1 hour early but this was declined. It was then very frustrating to find that the check in process was through a door code. Communication with the host throughout the booking process and our stay was non-existent. Note that the parking space is just off-road parking, there is no private space, however we were able to find a space without any issue.
Met by host, apartment clean and fresh a credit to our host
Liked: Self catering. City map provided 3min walk to Ypres location could not have been better
Disliked: Nothing!
Liked: Located in the middle of the town great for walking to the main sites
excellent. going to rebook for my 60th birthday celebrations
Liked: everything, host met us and took time to tell us all about it, location was fantastic
Disliked: NA
Liked: Really well appointed comfortable rooms. Final stop on a bike tour. Good quit street parking for bikes. Close to Menin gate.
The location was excellent, on a quiet road which is less than 5 mins walk from the central market
Liked: The location was excellent, on a quiet road which is less than 5 mins walk from the central market square. The views across Ypres and the aspect of the rooms was exceptional. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well appointed. This is definately a wonderful little apartment for a stay, certainly for a couple or 4 people. Note, room 2 is on a mezzanine floor above the living room but is private, comfy and has amazing views.
Disliked: Nothing, loved it all.
