  The hosts are incredibly helpful, the property is high quality, and location is very pretty and ideal for Menin Gate

  Liked: Great public space, everything very modern, well kitted out, amd great that each bedroom is en-suite. Also nice outdoor area to sit in. Location is amazing, right in centre and minutes walk from the Menin Gate. Hosts are fabulous

  Fabulous place in an ideal location

  Liked: Absolutely everything. Rooms were superb as were the facilities. Incredibly spacious. Spotlessly clean. Owners Carmen & Francis could not have done more for us (including escorting us into the centre when the roads were closed for a rally).

  A beautiful home in a perfect location

  Liked: Villa Ernest is perfect. The location, the property, the garden and the hosts are all incredible and we feel so lucky that Carmen and Francis allowed us to stay. We couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay in Ypres.

  Liked: The property was modern and clean throughout. Great facilities and en-suite for each bedroom. Location was amazing, right next to the central square, with secure parking. The garden was lovely, secluded and so peaceful, only the bells of the museum breaking the silence, in a good way. Lovely story to the history of the building and its original owner Ernest.
