  Liked: We had a wonderful family holiday with our two children, aged 5 and 9. We stayed in Comfort Mobile Home No. 18, which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spacious enough for our family of four, and the beach was just a few minutes’ walk away. The location of Camp Vira is excellent – peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, yet only a few minutes’ drive from Hvar Town. The campsite also has a lovely, quiet bay where you can relax and enjoy the day on the sun loungers provided. The staff at the reception were very friendly, welcoming and always ready to help or give advice whenever we needed it. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Camp Vira to families looking for a relaxing holiday close to Hvar. We would be happy to come back again!

  Tremendous stay all round, beautiful cove with beach and stunning views. We will be back!

  Liked: Wonderful location, stunning views, great bar/restaurant with great staff. Lovely calm atmosphere throughout the site. The premier cabin we stayed in was perfect, and had everything we needed. All campsite / reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you

  Great for peace and quiet

  Liked: We chose this place because we wanted to avoid the bustle of the old town and spend more time in nature, and this place certainly delivered. The premium mobile home was great – huge terrace and great views, very well-equipped kitchen. We were checked in by a really friendly and helpful man. Came in for 3 nights in September just before they closed for the season so it was fairly quiet, which was great for us. I would recommend to anyone with a car who wants a bit of quiet. Seems to be an especially great place for family camping.

  Disliked: There is no wifi. The impression we got from staying there was that someone with a beautiful dream created it, and then it was bought by a corporation that no longer cared to invest any money or time into it. This was apparent through general maintenance things (no longer bothering to maintain minigolf, beach volleyball court). Laundry was very expensive (15 euros total to wash and dry). Otherwise the terraces of the mobile homes are all open and side-by-side so if you and your neighbors are outside at the same time there is not so much privacy.

  Liked: Position: quiet and only 3 km from hvar city The room: mobile house, renewed, clean and nice. with a large terrace looking tothe sea and hill. Privacy and quiet Very Good private beach with nice bar. Shadow and fresh (important in a camp). Good common wc, showers and barbecue Good cost/benefit ratio.

  Disliked: The place is cozy and cute, but it deserve more attention in caring especially in common areas, removing or fixing old unused stuffs (old boat full of things, the pedal boat, the woodenhut at the entrance)
