  Wonderful

  Liked: I really enjoyed my stay. Since it was September, it was very quiet, and you could sleep perfectly without air conditioning. The beach is just in front of the room, and it is also one of the coziest in the region, with sun from morning until sunset. Breakfast was basic, but complete and totally fair for the price. You have all the amenities right there, a bar (more for drinks than for food, though), bike, paddle board rentals... An added bonus was the gorgeous cats (I ran into three of them...). All the staff were very pleasant, and it is also perfect for socializing as a solo traveler. I would definitely return.

  Disliked: The wifi didnt reach the room. A small fridge in the mobile house would be a huge +.

  Liked: Hostel is located right on the nice beach. Rooms are fine, host is polite and helpful, WiFi was working well. Overall, it was very good price/quality ratio. Good option for Pula, if you want to be close to the beach.

  Liked: Ok, I WAS in HI hostels in Vienna and Oslo. Oslo Hi Hostel cannot be compared to this. It seems like 2 worlds. But Vienna was also better, at least breakfast was much, much better then one being served here. Overall, there are far better hostels in Pula, if you are just for beach it is ok, but nothing else. The best asset of the facility are people who work there (and I mean elderly lady), God bless them! Thank you for everything. Comfortable beds (suprisingly!) give good sleep quality, but I imagine it is unbearably hot during peak season inside (not all rooms are air-cinditioned, careful when booking, price indicates if the room is air-coned or not)

  Disliked: For going out in the night, you need to pass darkened road through bushes, no streetlights, so it can be unsettling and uncomfortable for single girls. This hostel is just for the beach goers and that's it. By the way, the hostel policy is the story for its own- they did not want to switch dates, and I had contract signing that Saturday - so I had to move BUSINESS and sth important like that in order not to lose reservation or money. By the time I got their feedback it was too late, I've moved everything,because I did not get their feedback (it was just a day away). So, they will just loose clients like that, to be a bit more open and responsive to ever-changing life and plans, they could do more. The fact that the whole place needs renewal doesn't help at all. I repeat, thank for the elderly lady at reception desk, she is their best asset.
