A convenient, comfortable, and reasonably priced lodging in Pula

Liked: Location was a short walk to the center of town. Our room was spacious… and on a floor that did not require our dragging our suitcases up flights of stairs (thank you to the kind receptionist who took it upon herself to change the room assignment to help a couple of “elderly “ guests) Breakfast was good

Disliked: Parking was a little difficult.

Veli Jože is a great place for your vacation

Liked: The hotel is an old administrative building from Austro-Hungarian time, that gives vibes from that period of the Croatian history. The location is very strategic, if your holiday is towards swimming and sunbathing. Near the place are one of the best beaches in Pula, and at the same time the Centro storico is only in 15 minutes by walk. The staff are exceptional. Very polite and trained personnel. The breakfast was on point, scrumbled eggs, boiled eggs, ham and cheese, donuts, fruit, fruit yogurt, coffee, juices and similar things. I felt the old yugoslavian style of breakfast. AC rooms with enough space. So, if you looking for the old and classy one yugoslavian vacation, maybe Veli is your perfect place. And, had to be mentioned the prices are way to high. Croatia needs to work on that.

  Disliked: Just fix the prices.:)
