  Great location in the centre of Zadar

  Liked: I took an uber from the bus station to reach this hostel. It has a lovely frontage with a welcoming entrance. Receptionist was very friendly when I checked in. The location of the hostel was great, right in the centre of the Old Town. Its on several floors and my dorm was accessed by a lift. I had a top bunk bed but despite being 70 access was fine as it was accessed by stairs/steps ( with useful storage under each step). Shared bathrooms were along the corridor from the dorm rooms. Occassionally there was a short wait for a shower Dorm rooms are spacious. The small kitchen, dining and living area with tv are on the ground floor. Socializing was good. I had dinner with one of my dorm mates who also showed me where the nearby beach is. The hostel is part of a hotel so there is a restaurant attached. I had a goodbreakfast in the restaurant every morning. Zadar is beautiful but three nights were enough for me.

  Disliked: There was a shortage of mugs, glasses and cutlery in the kitchen.

  Liked: Nice hostel

  Disliked: People do not clean the kitchen after themselves and the stuff doesn’t really care much about it, so the kitchen is very dirty and there is not enough dishes to cook and eat

  Overall, the hostel was well located, but the noise at night made it difficult to sleep, so I would only recommend it to

  Liked: I had a decent stay at Downtown Boutique Hostel in Zadar; the location was great and the room was okay, but the facilities and comfort could have been better.

  Disliked: I enjoyed the central location of Downtown Boutique Hostel in Zadar, but it was quite noisy at night, which made it difficult to sleep, so overall it was an average stay.

  Liked: liked the hostel. It took me a long time to find it, but I guess that's just my problem. It's hidden very well! It's clean, quiet, quite comfortable, and inexpensive. The manager is attentive and ready to help with any requests.
