Great staff and location but overpriced and in need of some updating

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager was very good in helping us find the parking garage. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a great shower. The location was very good and central.

Disliked: This hotel is advertised as a 4 Star hotel/spa, which in our option` is not. The carpet in our room was stained and worn, the headboard and couch were tattered, the the lighting not great, and our room was facing a busy road with car and truck traffic through the night. It is way overpriced for what you get.

Liked: Rather expensive - over 400 euros for 2 nights without breakfast!

  Very pleasant stay overall

Liked: Very charming with modern facilities.

Disliked: Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Scrambled eggs were there but bacon all gone. Could have asked for more I expect but time was tight.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel

Liked: Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, location was walking distance to many restaurants, shops and castle. The staff was always available and housekeeping was efficient The pool area was clean with plenty of towels and the water was warm Also the staff all spoke English which helped us greatly!

Disliked: The scrambled eggs and bacon need to be kept warmer and the room needed some small washcloth sized towels and bar soap

Liked: Bigger isn’t always better!! This charming hotel exceeded my expectations. The cottage at the back near the pool was very comfortable and quiet, we loved its French charm!!

Disliked: What’s not to like? It is a wonderful property!!
