Fabulous
Liked: The location is great but internet connection was very weak and after several following up nothing changed. In the bath tub there was a water cloge.
Great location, but a bit outdated building and not working Wifi
Liked: Amazing location, right in the city centre and easy to reach from the station. The staff was kind and helpful.
Disliked: The room was spacious, but quite outdated, like the overall building. The WiFi did not work at all. This was an issue, since I was travelling for work. The breakfast was nice, but quite limited.
Central heating out of order. Air conditioning too managed by the receptionist who didn’t know how to work it. Absolutel
Liked: Situation
Disliked: No heating in room and this in the end of October during storm Austen. I was cold and everything seemed damp.
Liked: The hotel is well-located and all the sightseeing spots in Angers are near. Also there is a tram nearby that goes directly to the university, if the purpose of the travel is a scientific conference. The room was small, but comfortable.
Excellent hotel at the very center of Angers
Liked: The hotel is within walking distance to the train station, the castle, the cathedral, and is on the street behind the Grand Theater of Angers. It has a lot of character and very helpful staff. It serves a healthy and excellent breakfast within a relatively long range of hours. We are very happy to have stayed at this hotel with a history and wished there were more of them.
Centrally located comfortable hotel
Liked: Staff was engaged and willing to speak with us, despite our weak French. Really excellent location.
