  It was an enjoyable stay overall

  Liked: It's my second stay in this hotel as Angers is the location of Grand Prix of figure skating in France. So, I knew what I would be getting. The location is next to Gare Angers-Laud and all bus and tram stops, the room was spacious with a tea/coffee selection and bathrobes. There is also a minibar. The breakfast was excellent, even offering what I like most for breakfast - fresh berries. I would like to thank Katya, the hostess for being so attentive and helpful.

  Disliked: The heating. The air-con wasn't working and it felt cold. But they brought us a small heater, so it was sorted out.

  Good hotel for a short stay

  Liked: Very helpful staff who gave directions to hotel garage and helped with our luggage. There was no parking at the hotel itself, which is in a busy location. Nice comfortable room and a good breakfast.

  Disliked: The evening meal we had in the restaurant attached to the hotel was adequate but disappointing.

  Do not recommend for cyclists

  Liked: Historic building with a restaurant next door. Lovely breakfast room.

  Disliked: We had bikes and I do NOT recommend staying here. The staff were not helpful and we had to schlep our bikes 2 blocks away and up into a parkade and then a locker with a very heavy and squeaky door. Being so close to the train station it was very busy and noisy.
