Exceptional
I could have stayed a month!
Liked: I have been using Booking.com for almost 20 years and this is the most perfect apartment I have stayed in. It is on an amazingly quiet street, yet only 100 m from the main thoroughfare in Angers, where you can find trams and buses to wherever you want to go in the local vecinity. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the train station with fabulous connections to Nantes, Saumur and beyond. There are range of very good supermarkets within a two minute walk as well as lots of bars and restaurants to suit all kinds of tastes. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning. The owner has finished it to an amazingly high standard and has paid attention to details, both aesthetically and practically: there is a very good range of matching glasses, crockery and cutlery and you will find every type of pot and pan you could possibly desire to cook your evening meal and then use the dishwasher to get rid of the evidence. The bed is very very comfortable. The bathroom is enormous and the light flooding in from the terrace and skylight is perfect. ( There are also blackout shutters if you wish to keep the apartment cool.) You can then take your glass of wine onto the patio and enjoy the bamboo dappled sunlight. What more could you want after a day of sightseeing? Please book this accommodation if you stay in Angers.
Disliked: If you have mobility problems or are frail, you might find the couple of steep steps from the pavement to the front door difficult to use. The door is heavy and this could be an issue.

Liked: Fantastic large apartment in a great location in Angers. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The terrace was lovely in the morning to eat breakfast. Great that it had storage for our bikes too. We really enjoyed our stay here and host went over and above to assist us when my husband was taken ill, phoning the Dr and staying with us as they needed to ring back on a French phone and we also have very limited French. Definitely a super host! Also gave great recommendations on restaurants and things to do on our first evening. Definitely recommend staying at this apartment
Disliked: Nothing, everything was good for us as a couple. If there were four people in the apartment then one thing to be aware of is that the bathroom was off the bedroom. So would suit a family but maybe not two couples.
Perfect base for exploring Angers
Liked: The property is spacious and beautifully decorated. Close to the centre of the city and with lots of information about the local area, this is the perfect base for exploring Angers. Everything we might have needed was included, so if I had wanted to for example, I could have cooked 'proper' meals and enjoyed the process!
Lovely host who greeted us and shared details on places to see and eat! Would highly recommend!

Lovely apartment and lovely host too
Liked: Lovely apartment and loved all the facilities. Kitchen was perfect for cooking and the bedroom had the most comfy bed and huge shower room. Annalay ( maybe spelt that wrong) was most helpful when we arrived and gave lots of info on what to visit etc in Angers. We would love to come back and stay there again.

Great place in Angers
Liked: Nice and quiet location downtown. 15 min walk from the castle. Convenient food stores nearby. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Stairs only so might be a little difficult for some people.
