Watch out if your car has low ground clearance!
Liked: The food hall below was very good with a wide choice of different menus catering to most tastes. The host did give us a bottle of wine to try to make up for the problems we had It was a nice and easy walk into town along the river.
Disliked: Entering the parking deck nearly ripped off the bottom of my car. Inspection of the ground at the entrance showed evidence of many cars having had the same problem, with multiple gouges in the concrete. There should be a warning in the description that the car park is only suitable for cars with high ground clearance. After this great start, you then have to negotiate quite a long distance to the apartment, entering multiple codes for the doors and lifts. Luckily we were only staying one night, and risked leaving most of our luggage in the car, but for anyone who has a lot of luggage that has to be transported to the apartment, then prepare for an odyssey. Having finally got to the apartment, we were dismayed to find that it hadn't been cleaned after the last guests had left. The freezer compartment wasn't' closable due to it never having been defrosted.

Liked: Spacious, clean apartment with a lovely view
Disliked: Not being greeted by host, im old fashioned and likf that. Too many lifts doors and codes to unravel beford you could enter the apartment.! Could not get connected to the WiFi despite numerous attempts.

A nice stopover
Liked: The room was basic, but fine for our stop over. There was plenty of bedding and the location was good. There was free parking, however struggled with the lack of correspondence, on how to enter the building and room. We needed to call for the information when I would have appreciated it in advance. There wasn't a reception area so spoke to the host directly. He was very helpful and we got there in the end.
Disliked: I felt that the electric plug sockets near the stove, looked unsafe. The drawer that hit the feed to the boiler, needs to be addressed. The noise in the bedroom from the road was quite loud, but for a stop over was fine.
A great little apartment for a short stay
Liked: A great location for visiting Bayonne. Underground garage very convenient and also good for bikes Access was with various codes for door/lift but very clear instructions were given by the owner. The apartment was very clean and well looked after. It was just missing a few things which would make it perfect- a kettle (not everyone uses coffee machines) more pans ( only one) for self catering, a plug for the kitchen sink and tea towels
