  Comfortable flat 5 minutes walking from Bordeaux Saint Jean

  Liked: I have chosen this apartment because it is very close to Gare St Jean, as we were arriving late in the evening and leaving early in the morning and it did not dissapoint. The location is very convenient from this point of view, even though it is not a nice neighborhood. The apartment itself is nicely decorated and comfortable. All the amenities were present, and I have appreciated the coffee capsules offered and the fact that were some travel guides around. It is also very quiet and we slept well.

  Disliked: As others have noted there is an unpleasant smell. And the neighborhood is not a nice one, as it is usually the case around big train stations. It did not feel unsafe on the other hand.

  Would not recommend, not at this price

  Liked: I liked the closeness to the gare. Nothing else

  Disliked: Well, the location was incredibly hot (but heatwave in France didn’t help). And the highest benefit is how close the place is to the train station, but it may be way overpriced. I generally don’t stay in the cheapest option (experienced terrible places by choosing the cheapest option so I stay away). I would have placed this location at a lower price. Plus, there was a 200 Euros extra required deposit AFTER I had already booked and paid for the stay. They were returned after leaving the place but had I known about it, I would not have selected the location. There was no signed agreement as to the conditions for returning or keeping the deposit, so very little enforceable return/refund options. Dishwasher was dirty and wet (like it had been washed carelessly), silverware the same.

  Disliked: Note the owner will ask for a separate deposit and a link to pay on the web, beyond the cost of the suite. The deposit was returned promptly however.

  Disliked: Didn't go persistently wanted bank details. Advised me that We would be perfectly safe, which was rather unreasurring. All together felt bad vibes and for goed complete cost and didn't go. Booked into Regina instead. I don't expect or want you to publish this, it's just for your information.
