  Disliked: Very old and tired in need of renovation. Didn’t use the shower as it didn’t look clean.

  Good location, not worth the money due to lack of cleanliness

  Liked: Great location.

  Disliked: Not clean. Toilets had pink film on the bowl, indicating they have not been cleaned properly in a long time. Rugs were bleached. Towels were stained. Shower curtain had black mold on the bottom. The shower pressure was inconsistent and the fixture holding the shower head was loose, so when the water pressure increased randomly, the head would fly up and water soaked the entire bathroom.

  Fabulous 2 night city break. Should have stayed longer! Here’s to next time!

  Liked: Main thing was the hotel’s location: fabulous, close to lots of “must see” sights in Bordeaux, including the Opera House (on the doorstep) Place de la Bourse & ”Mirror Palace” and Rue Sainte Catherine only 5 minutes walk away. Of note: the reception team and bar/restaurant staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful too, encouraging me trying to communicate in French (but were not at all patronising 👌) Sensible “happy hour” prices for beer & very nice wine too 👏 in the hotel bar (open to the public). Must give a big shout out to the lovely male Receptionist, who helped us out speaking French to our travel insurance company - I had fallen over spectacularly in the street, very close to the hotel, halfway through our stay in the city. He was just lovely. Merci beaucoup pour votre aide! It turns out I had shattered my upper arm and had to fly home the next day (cutting our holiday short by a couple of days 😢 - I was gutted! Hope to return next year. Fingers crossed!
