  Prepare for a scam

  Liked: This host is a scam. After spending extra for an already overpriced flat, in the end we had at least a place to stay. Apartment was clean and not too far from Croisette.

  Disliked: This host is a scam. We booked for work during Cannes lions, the week before he texted me that the property I booked is no longer available (the agency used the same trick with my colleagues). We try to find a solution and I can get the same size apartment by paying 900 more. Since I don’t have other options, I go for this. Getting the keys was also another challenge as the code provided didn’t work. It’s only after calling and messaging the agency in french that we sort this out.

  Liked: This property simply doesn’t exist!!!! It’s a scam

  Disliked: It’s a scam. I know other people who booked and we all had the same experience. The “manager” writes last minute saying that the property owner is not responsive anymore and he doesn’t know what to do so he asks for more money to find another apartment. I know at least 5 people who got scammed exactly like this during Lions week!!!

  Disliked: This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. The apartment was not prepared for guests at all. It was clearly being used as the host's personal living space and was full of the owner's belongings. The wardrobes were packed with the host's clothes, personal items were everywhere, and even the laundry basket in the bathroom was full of the host's dirty clothes. We were allocated only three shelves for our belongings, and even those were located next to someone else's personal items. There was no sense of privacy, comfort, or security. Staying in an apartment filled with a stranger's possessions made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe throughout our stay. When we contacted the host and asked for the apartment to be properly cleaned and for the personal belongings to be removed, he showed no interest in resolving the issue. Instead, he replied on WhatsApp that if we were unhappy, we could leave and find accommodation elsewhere. The situation became even more frustrating after our departure. More than a month has passed since check-out, and our security deposit has still not been returned. The apartment was dirty, poorly managed, and completely unsuitable as a short-term rental. The host showed no professionalism, no concern for guest comfort, and no willingness to address legitimate complaints. I cannot recommend this property to anyone and would strongly advise future guests to book elsewhere.
