  Welcoming, comfortable, and exceptionally well-located hotel that felt like a home away from home

  Liked: Very warm, inviting and well-lit rooms that genuinely felt like coming home after a day out. The staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size. There was plenty of storage, with ample clothes rails and shelving, plus an in-room safe and large fridge (essential for bottled water, or the occasional bottle of wine). Be realistic with your expectations: this may be a 3-star hotel, but it was clean, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. The location is superb, with everything within easy walking distance, from the large Monoprix supermarket opposite Cannes train station to the many excellent restaurants and long sandy beaches.

  Disliked: We would have appreciated a kettle in the room for an early morning or late evening cup of tea. However, this is a very minor point and certainly didn't detract from our stay. Given the excellent value for money offered by the hotel, it's difficult to find much else to fault.

  Avoid - As someone who has never bothered to write a review

  Disliked: Staff didn’t knock and walked in on me naked. Refused to apologize. Woman was incredibly rude and argumentative. It occurred twice. They didn’t knock twice. Naked twice. Very frustrating, strange, and violating. Essentially, it is a motel, outdated and off-putting with no warmth. No real apologizes. They were doing “work” on this tired bathroom. The repair was done very sloppily and a sign of poor handwork, as well as cheap owners.
