Where to stay in Èze: the best areas

Medieval village

Inside the walls and on the slope around the village there are few places to stay, most of them upmarket charming hotels with sea views. At night, when the visitors leave, the village is very quiet. Bear in mind that cars cannot enter and there are many steps.

Èze-sur-Mer

On the Mediterranean shore, Èze-sur-Mer has a beach, villas, apartments and the odd hotel. The railway station connects with Nice and Monaco in a few minutes, and the Nietzsche path climbs up to the village.

Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche-sur-Mer

These two coastal towns, very close towards Nice, have hotels of every category, seafront promenades and good beaches. They are on the same railway line and well connected to Èze by bus.

Nice

Half an hour away, Nice has the most choice in the area, from hotels in Vieux Nice and on the Promenade des Anglais to apartments in the districts near the station. It is the most practical base if you want to visit Èze, Monaco and other villages without a car.
