Exceptional
The best spot for Dordogne Castle visits
Liked: Comfortable immaculate rooms and spacious walk in shower. Superb breakfast. Ideally placed for the best castles and their recommended spot for dinner 800m away had the best Margret de Canard I’ve tasted

Lovely hotel with proximity to beautiful landmarks in PERIGORD NOIR
Liked: The location is excellent, especially if you are planning to visit some of the main attractions in the area, such as La Roque-Gageac, Beynac and Domme. The hotel itself is beautiful, with extensive and well-maintained grounds offering plenty of space to walk around and relax. One of the highlights is the view of Château de Beynac from the hotel grounds. The facilities are also excellent, particularly the gym and swimming pool, which we really enjoyed. The entire property is very well maintained and clean, making it a pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was another positive, with a good variety of choices and a standard that was better than what we would normally expect from a typical continental breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed the setting, facilities and location of the hotel.
Disliked: Generally, we had very little to complain about. If we had to be picky, the breakfast, while varied, could become a little repetitive when staying for four nights. It would have been nice to have some warm breakfast options as well, perhaps with a small rotating selection each day. One other minor observation is that we sometimes felt that the host was a little more friendly and approachable with French-speaking guests. This may simply have been due to the language barrier, and we certainly did not consider it a major issue during our stay. Overall, these are only minor points. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed exploring the beautiful Périgord and Dordogne region, with this hotel serving as an excellent base for our trips.
