  I travel for work and have stayed in over 100 hotels easily. This by far was the worst

  Disliked: Room was not clean, visible dirty and sticky bed linens, walls stained/had holes, air conditioner set at 19 not working/hot and humid in room, mold on floors and walls, towel rack fell out of wall hitting my foot/remained hanging out of wall, front staff apathetic. The worst were the bed bugs biting me at night, unable to sleep! Informed manager, Karen, but was told hotel was full and would have to wait until next day because cleaning staff had left for the day. Moved twice. Was unable to stay in room either night then I checked out and although was told the hotel was full, was never given a refund for the remaining 4 nights. My concerns were dismissed by the manager and she said this is what should be expected for a 3 star hotel. Wasted 2 days of a 6 day vacation with very little sleep dealing with this horrible living situation. Moved to another hotel which was clean, functional, and staff welcoming and kind - really turned around my stay in Marseille. Would urge you not to stay at Residhotel.

  Great location, nice facility!

  Liked: The location was very convenient to the port, yet not exactly in the heart of the tourist chaos! And the room was modern, clean and spacious! The people at reception were very friendly. Wish I had stayed there longer!

  Liked: Mostly good except: lock box did not work, loud, strong fumes. If you use only the air conditioning, and not open the windows, it would be almost perfect once they repair the lock box. Also lock box is too small for a laptop. False advertising!

  Great hotel, great location, great city!

  Liked: 10/10 would recommend and would stay again next time we return to Marseille. It is perfectly located and easily accessible from the metro or by foot from the train station. The air conditioning is a must in the Mediterranean summer and the room is spacious and comfortable, with everything (including a small kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and plates and utensils) you could possibly need. Great value for a very reasonable price for a hotel located 2 steps away from the Vieux Port.
