  Good location

  Liked: The staff were wonderful. Henri was so helpful with restaurants etc. He changed our room so it was a bit bigger. The hostess also was helpful. Nice breakfast and great location.

  Disliked: The staircase carpet smelt badly and needs renewing. It’s a very old building that we liked but as needs some love.

  Good for solo travelers!

  Liked: Great location, close to St. Paul subway station and walkable to the House de Ville area which has tons of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

  Disliked: The room is small, but you can store your luggage under your bed. The shower system can be a little bit tricky to figure out. The building is old, so you need to haul your luggage up half a flight to catch the elevator, which only fits 1 person and 2 suitcases (barely), and only goes up to the 4th floor. The building is old, so soundproofing is not great.
