excellent location, clean, comfortable - would recommend

Liked: decent room size for Paris and the location was excellent - a very lively area and only 2 blocks from Gare de Montparnasse. clean and comfortable, quiet. I'd stay here again.

Disliked: I've also found this in other Paris hotels: the toilet is fit so tightly in the bathroom that you have to sit at an angle on the seat because otherwise your legs are squeezed against the wall (I'm 5'6" - would've been really tough for very tall people) Bathroom is small which was not unexpected (very clean however.) I found one of the front desk people to be somewhat unpleasant: seemed annoyed when I wanted to ask a question (it appeared that I interrupted a task he was doing). he tried to make up for it later by being nicer so I appreciated that but never felt comfortable with him. (the other man was very nice). Don't let these things dissuade you - I'd stay here again.

Good location. Nice staff. Room smelled fishy when entered - you get used to it and it faded. Water all over floor when

  Liked: Location

Disliked: It stank of fish but it dissipated. Water all over floor when showering.

The hotel provided what we needed. A bed for the night, aircon, and breakfast - pretty basic

Liked: Close to two separate Metro stations allowing good access for sightseeing.

  Disliked: Nothing disliked,.

Return visit as we liked it the first visit

Liked: Well run independent hotel in a convenient place. Close to the station but in a quiet location. Air con was brilliant in a very hot Paris.

Disliked: Just the price. Very expensive on this site.
