    Terrible

    Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Absolutely nothing. I have never felt so unsafe in my life, and I have rarely seen such a dirty and unhygienic hotel. My entire experience was absolutely horrible, and I genuinely want to warn others before they make the mistake of staying here. First of all, both the hotel room and the bathroom were extremely dirty. The bathroom was freezing cold and covered in stains. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable. I experienced severe back pain every single night, to the point where I actually had to take painkillers because the pain became unbearable. However, the worst part of my stay was how unsafe the area surrounding the hotel felt. As a woman travelling alone, I would strongly advise against staying at this location. I am someone who is very independent, travels alone frequently, and is generally not afraid to explore places by myself. But I have honestly never felt this uncomfortable or unsafe anywhere before. Every time I stepped outside the hotel, I was harassed by creepy men. There were men constantly standing by the windows, staring inside, and I even experienced people following me down the street. There were also homeless people all around the area. The situation became so intimidating that I had to ask my Uber drivers to pick me up directly in front of the hotel entrance every single time. I was genuinely too scared to walk any further than the front door. The staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming either. However, I do want to acknowledge two employees who were genuinely kind: a lovely young woman and a very friendly man with a darker complexion. Unfortunately, I do not know his name, but they were the only positive exceptions during my stay. It is completely unacceptable to pay for a hotel and be forced to stay in such filthy conditions while also feeling so unsafe that you are afraid to leave the building. A hotel should be somewhere you can relax, feel comfortable, and most importantly, feel safe.

    Some good, some bad

    Liked: Hairdryer

Disliked: Dorm room got very hot (late October) but it was eventually fixed. Staff came to look at it twice. Shower sometimes ok, sometimes just cold. I wish there was at least one or two hooks for towels and clothing in the bathroom. No possibility to make your own food, even in the general areas. One staff member made it awkward in the luggage storage, when I was sorting through my private stuff. She was unnecessarily standing right next to me, even though there were no other bags in the room. Rest of the staff was nice and helpful.

    Value for money

Liked: Our beds were comfortable, clean and cosy. It is located in a quiet area so there wasn't too much disturbance or noise at night. Reception area is also a bar - good for pre or post drinks and reasonably priced. Supermarket located right next door. We also found an incredible place to eat L'Artisan Neopolitan on Rue Ordener. Underground/metro is super close - easier to navigate than London - so encourage you to use public transport system close to Glint. Walking distance to Sacré Cœur.

Disliked: The surrounding area can feel a bit unsafe at night — but like most places around the world, travel with friends and be street smart. You'll be fine.

Liked: Clean room, close to the metro.

Disliked: I booked a ladies dorm and there was a guy staying in the room, not ok. Bathroom door was extremely loud to close and lock, everyone in the dorm would wake up if someone had to use the toilet. Also note the location did not feel safe when it got dark but very short walk to calmer area. Maybe still it is good value for the money considering it’s a cheap place compared to other options in Paris.

Good location and breakfast, but overall wouldnt come back

Liked: The location is easily accessible with multiple metro lines and bus. Nearby is big supermarket Carrefour, within walking distance Aldi. The breakfast was good and worth the price.

Disliked: No kitchen and very limited common spaces, the area around can look a bit unsafe and dirty, although I had no problems whatsoever. Sleeping in the middle bed in triple bunkbed is not comfortable for people tall as me.
