Perfect location for a short stay in central Paris, but don't expect a four-star hotel

Liked: The breakfast was good, the location was excellent, staff very nice, but this is not a 4-star hotel. It's very pleasant, but the bar is basically a cupboard and you ask the receptionist to get you a drink, there is no restaurant other than the tiny breakfast room. There is a coffee machine and water at any time.

Disliked: There is one lift, that holds two people and luggage, for the whole building. A 'superior room with courtyard view" turned out to be a fairly regular, somewhat dark room with a small view of the wall across a tiny gap in the building, Nice if you like to look at peeling paint, but hardly a 'courtyard'. One bottle of water for a three day stay seemed a bit mean.
