Relieved we were only there one night

    Liked: Nothing

Disliked: It was very scruffy and in need of an over haul. Lift only worked spasmodically. VERY overpriced

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at - DO NOT STAY AT THIS DEN OF INIQUITY, IT'S HORRENDOUS!

Liked: It was awful in every way. The staff were rude and belligerent, the rooms were dirty and tired looking. The service was appalling. Everything about this hotel - but particularly the service was dreadful

Disliked: We asked for our bags to be stored in a secure location while we explored Paris on the day we were leaving, We were given tickets for our bags and asked to put them in a room with a lock on it. The member of staff did not put the bags in the room herself or even accompany us, but instead allowed us to go in there alone where other guests bags were accessible. The room had a lock on it but evidently it wasn't used - much to my shock - and similarly other guests were allowed to enter the room unsupervised throughout the day. There were also people hanging around in the lobby who could easily enter at their leisure. My child's iPad was stolen from her bag and the response was 'that had never happened before' This despite the fact the room was left unlocked and people were going in and out of there unsupervised by staff. When we returned home the hotel denied that there was any evidence the iPad had been stolen, but at the same time offered us 400 euros in hush money. They refused to admit liability or responsibility, or to report the matter to the police, or to share CCTV footage, or to acknowledge that the theft had taken place. They did not even sign and date the proforma piece of paper they used so that it literally said 'Name of Manager' and 'Date' at the bottom where they should have completed the legal document they used to try to hide behind. I accepted the 400 Euros and then waited for almost two months, chasing them at first weekly and then daily for the monies,. They did not reply to a single email or text message I sent. In the end I tracked down the CEO of the company that owns the hotel on LinkedIn and shared my story and within 24 hours the payment was made. I have never been treated so badly by a hotel or indeed stayed somewhere that took so little care over its guests, its premises and its customer service.
