BAD HOTEL
Liked: Unexpected €85 Cleaning Charge and Disrespectful Treatment at Checkout I had a very disappointing experience at Hôtel Cluny Square in Paris. During checkout, the staff told me that I had to pay an additional cleaning fee of approximately €85 because they claimed I had left the room excessively dirty. I disagreed with this claim, as I had not left the room unusually dirty. The only mess I recall was a few peanut shells on the floor. I felt pressured to pay the additional charge, and I paid it because of the situation. What made the experience worse was that the staff spoke to me loudly and made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I believe additional charges should be clearly explained and properly justified. Guests should also be treated politely and respectfully, even when there is a disagreement. This experience left me very disappointed with the hotel’s checkout process and customer service. I would like the hotel to explain this charge and provide a fair resolution.

A great place to stay in the heart of the city!
Liked: The location is exceptional! We were walking distance to most of the main sites, the metro and some fabulous restaurants. The room was small (usual for Paris) but very clean. And we loved the view from our room!
Disliked: There is no elevator access from the main floor. It was a bit of a struggle getting the luggage up and down the spiral staircase to the main lobby and elevator (luckily we only had to do that on arrival and departure). But this was a small price to pay for what we got in return.
A lovely stay with friendly, helpful staff and thoughtful service
Liked: The staff were so friendly and helpful! We really appreciated being able to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made it much easier to explore the city without having to carry our bags around. It was such a thoughtful and convenient service that made our stay even better. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!
