  Liked: Facility shows its age but it's part of the character. A few things were in disrepair in our room but it worked. Bed was comfortable. Very well located to metro, restaurants and main attractions.

  Convenient location and friendly staff, but poor cleaning and a mouse in the room

  Liked: The hotel is conveniently located just a one-minute walk from the metro station, served by lines 2 and 13. Pigalle may not be the most popular or safest area in Paris, but I personally liked it because there is always something going on, day and night. The hotel itself is in a pleasant neighbourhood. The Wi-Fi was excellent, the reception staff were polite and friendly, and the room had a kettle for making hot drinks.

  Disliked: The room was cleaned and the rubbish emptied only once during my seven-night stay, although fresh towels were provided. The bed and bedding were fine. The bathroom was very small, and larger guests may struggle to get in and out of the shower. My biggest concern was finding a mouse in the room at 3:30 a.m. It had chewed through a plastic bag containing empty snack packets, and the noise woke me up. When I turned on the light, it disappeared under the skirting board. I was so unsettled that I couldn't sleep for the next two hours. I don't mind old furniture or minor damage, but having a mouse in the room is unacceptable. Fortunately, I didn't see any insects.

  Good enough:)

  Liked: The location is great, very close to the metro and just one street away from Montmartre. The staff were extremely nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, and whenever we had any issues, the staff were quick to help us resolve them. Their kindness and helpfulness really made a difference during our stay.

  Disliked: The hotel itself is quite old, and the rooms are very small. However, everything was clean enough. We had an issue with the shower, but the staff took care of it and had it fixed the next day. There is no elevator, and the spiral staircase can be a little challenging, especially after a long day of walking around Paris.
