Lovely little budget hotel in Paris

Liked: The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was extremely delicious, and the staff were all so friendly. It is only a short walk to Gare du Nord, and not far to Pigalle, where you can get a bus to the Eiffel Tower.

Disliked: I'd read the area was sketchy but wasn't prepared for quite how bad it would be. However, no one approached me and I had no trouble. It did stop me going out after dark, however.
