Liked: Quiet location with easy access to Metro and helpful staff on duty 24/7. Chief drawback for us 70 year-olds was narrow & twisty stairway to breakfast room in basement. Elevator went only up to floors 1 & 2.

Liked: Very old building, rooms and bathrooms all updated, but still with some old beams showing as esthetic touches. Great local restaurants less than a block away. Twenty minute walk from gare de Lyon, and 15 minutes or less to Notre Dame. NOT a touristy area. Elevator is VERY small, but that is typical. Would absolutely stay here again.

Liked: Beautiful 18th Century building and very friendly staff. Located in the wonderful Marais area of Paris a few blocks from the Seine. No restaurant on premises but a great breakfast. Many restaurants within a 10 minute walk, and Notre Dame, the Louvre and many other attractions are within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again b
