Great location but not a 4 star hotel

Liked: Great location, safe parking, friendly staff

Disliked: Both rooms and bathrooms need an update. Doesn’t fit description of 4 star hotel. Carpets are stained. Even if advertised as pet friendly, dogs were not allowed in breakfast room

  3 nights in Pau

Liked: The staff at breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfy. The location was very close to the Bosquet district for shopping and restaurants.

Disliked: The toilet paper was very rough. The room was clean but needed an update. Old carpets and closet doors needed repair and the room some paint. The location coming in was tricky to find because GPS kept getting confused.
