  Great host but not the most pleasant stay

  Liked: Thomas was a welcoming, helpful, polite, and responsive host. When we arrived at the building, he opened the door for us remotely and was very patient with me while I was trying to open the second door (it was a bit tricky). We were welcomed with two bottles of mineral water, tea, and two types of coffee. The kitchen had the needed utensils for basic cooking. The smart TV was great, I had fun watching YouTube before sleeping. The bed and the mattresses were good. The location of the apartment was convenient, with the bus and tram stops nearby. The apartment is spacious for two people and could easily get 10/10 if it were cleaned properly.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the apartment wasn't as good as the host - the cleanliness left much to be desired: 1. My white socks became grey in 2 minutes. 2. There were stains everywhere - on the chair, the kitchen towel, the blinds 3. The microwave was so dirty I didn't dare to use it 4. I found 5 (!) blond hairs in the red towels in the bathroom 5. There were cobwebs with a huge number of dead insects 6. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and barely worked 7. Some of the cutlery and the little pot were dirty. I had to wash everything before using it.

  Mixed feelings; Good Location, Poor Comfort

  Liked: The apartment's location was excellent, making it incredibly easy to get around. With bus and train stops conveniently nearby, we had no trouble reaching various destinations. However, if you prefer to walk to the city center, be prepared for about a 30-minute stroll. Plus there were markets in the surrounding area, which was very convenient. Upon arrival, we needed to contact the host for entry, and they were highly responsive, getting back to us quickly whenever we needed assistance. Overall, the apartment was well-cleaned and equipped with basic kitchen essentials, which was a great help during our stay.

  Disliked: While the apartment itself was renovated, it's located in an older building. Unfortunately, entering and exiting meant passing by a row of overflowing rubbish bins, which consistently emitted unpleasant odors. The apartment is on the first floor, requiring a short climb up some stairs. A significant issue for us was the lack of air conditioning. We visited during a very hot period and desperately needed AC. The sun hit the apartment early in the morning and warmed it throughout the entire day. This, combined with the absence of blackout curtains, made it difficult to sleep in during the mornings. Because there was no AC, we had to leave the windows partially open, but there were no mosquito nets, and in our stay, we even found a very large insect inside. Another definite downside was the bedding. The low-quality, colored sheets simply didn't feel clean or provide any sense of comfort. We understand this is a budget-friendly apartment, and that influenced our choice, but looking back, we would have preferred to pay a bit more for a more comfortable stay during our vacation.

  Excellent stay!

  Liked: It was amazing stay, with perfect support from Sandra and Thomas. Very clean, close to station (5 min by walk), silent, calm, safe. Check-in and check-out was easy. Well equipped. Strongly recommend.
