  Comfort, breathtaking mountain views, hospitality, aminities, connectivity and great value for money

  Liked: Our stay at Gästehaus Am Buchenbichl was exceptional during our stay. The apartment was spacious, spotless, beautifully maintained, and furnished with modern, high-quality furniture and all kitchen appliances. The rooms were very comfortable and offered breathtaking mountain view from the balcony. One of the highlights was watching the mountains glow in beautiful golden colors during sunset from our room and the garden area. The location is excellent—peaceful and scenic, yet very convenient. A bus stop is only a 2–3 minute walk away, making it easy to explore Schönau am Königssee, Berchtesgaden, and the surrounding attractions without needing a car. There is also a very nice restaurant nearby, which was perfect after a day of sightseeing. A wonderful bonus was the guest visitor card provided by the property, which allowed free travel on local buses and trains and also offered discounts on several attractions in the region. This added tremendous value to our trip and made getting around extremely easy. The owners Mr. Stefan Kreuzer & Mrs. Barbara Kreuzer were among the kindest and most welcoming hosts we have ever met. They greeted us warmly, provided helpful local information, and were always available to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home and enhanced our overall experience. The beautiful garden, stunning mountain surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, and outstanding value for money made this one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. We would happily return for a stay in the future and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area a one of the best place to stay on your vacation.

  Disliked: Nothing at all. Everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation, location, cleanliness, facilities, hospitality, and overall experience were all outstanding. We genuinely could not find anything that needed improvement.

  Amazing

  Liked: Perfect location with the most beautiful view! Bus stop is very close so easy to get anywhere, room was clean and had everything we would need for our stay. Host was very welcoming and recommended us a bakery just a couple mins away. We loved our stay here and would love to come back!

  One of my best 2 week vacations

  Liked: Excellent apartment and very friendly and helpful host. Perfect location for daily excursions. Bakery, Butcher, Grocery Stores and Restaurants conveniently located. Nice balcony with great view. Apartment provided everyrhing I needed incl. Refrigerator, two stove tops, coffee maker, water boiler, toaster and dishes. Able to do laundry for a small usage fee. Impressed with the host, such a nice person.
