Liked: Staying at Haus Lukaswinkl was genuinely one of the highlights of my entire trip, and I mean that wholeheartedly. The location is absolutely perfect. I walked everywhere, the Königssee boat dock, the trails, restaurants, all on foot, no transportation needed whatsoever. Waking up every morning with the Alps right outside the window is something I will not forget. The balcony view alone is worth the stay. The surrounding area is breathtaking, peaceful, and incredibly well connected to everything Schönau am Königssee has to offer. The apartment itself is spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything you need is there. But what truly elevated this stay above anything I could have expected was Willy. His hospitality is unlike anything I have ever experienced as a traveler. He made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, not like a guest checking into a room, but like a friend visiting a home. Every interaction was warm, generous, and completely sincere. It is rare to find a host who puts so much heart into what they do. Willy takes pride not just in his property, but in the experience of every single person who walks through his door. That kind of hospitality cannot be manufactured, it is simply who he is. I will be recommending Haus Lukaswinkl to everyone I know visiting Berchtesgaden. I sincerely hope to come back one day. Thank you for everything Willy, you made my stay truly unforgettable.

Beautiful property with amazing views-very clean apartment and we had a lovely relaxing break in the mountains!
Liked: Absolutely lovely property where we stayed for one week. The property had an impressive view looking out onto the mountains. The apartment was one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in! We really liked the extra decor and furnishings in the room that added to the character. The apartment had all the equipment needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The host was great and answered any questions we had, whether this was hiking trials or restaurants in the local area.
Disliked: Nothing.
A very pleasant and comfortable stay
Liked: Hosts picked us up and dropped us off in Bertchesgarten which was fabulous. We still hadn't figured out the bus system. Lovely residential location close to local shops and a 40 min walk to Bertchesgarten in one direction and Koningsee in the other along a beautiful river. Used the buses too. Comfortable accommodation with good facilities. Very helpful hosts. A car would have made it a little easier but not essential.
Disliked: Pillows were a little thin.
