  Liked: The perfect place to stay with beautiful views! Enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony and evening drinks. Plenty of room for us all (8), Kitchen was well equipped and modern. Great hosts, easy to reach, not that we needed them.

  Disliked: A bit of a hike to get back up the hill, but taxis are very efficient and always available. Could maybe do with one more shower and an upgrade to the bathrooms, but all worked fine.

  A special peaceful place with stunning mountain views

  Liked: It was really peaceful and comfortable with everything we needed. The woman who greeted us was very helpful. Berchtesgaden is a beautiful place.

  Disliked: There was an unpleasant smell in the kitchen esp in the evenings but we bought scented candles which helped a bit. We had not realised how steep the route to the Schloss is on foot. It may be worth saying that if visitors are not coming by car, they need to be fit and allow for some taxi fares!

  Perfect for big group stays in this magnificent area

  Liked: Location. Host Inge and son Titus were so helpful and gifted us beers at arrival. Although weather was really epically bad we still could have a good time.
