  A truly unforgettable stay combining historic charm, modern comfort and breathtaking mountain views

  Liked: From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in a special place. Villa Doris is in a perfect location (a 10-minute walk to the town centre) with plenty of on-street parking available. Barbara made us feel so welcome and treated our dog like a prince. When you walk down the stairs to the apartment, you are stepping into a little piece of paradise. The beautiful gardens are free to use as part of the apartment, offering the most amazing views of the Watzmann. The apartment itself is so spacious and has everything you could need for a short or extended stay. We loved the decor and antique furniture, it offered a wonderful glimpse into the grandeur of Villa Doris, balanced with all the modern amenities you could ever want.

  Disliked: Not a thing, we had such an amazing stay and loved every minute. Espeically Ragnar, I think he loved it the most and loved running around the garden and having all that space to himself.

  Perfect "10"

  Liked: Villa Doris is a beautiful, historic, nicely renovated apartment located just a few minutes' walk to the center of Bertchesgaden. The kitchen has everything you need and the villa is full of wonderful antique furniture. The bedroom is big with a very comfortable bed. We loved the huge, private backyard. It was perfect for our little dog, who was welcomed there. The owners were so kind and helpful to us. Perfect in every way. We hope we can return again soon!

  Greatly recommended!

  Liked: Very good location, convenient to town center and railway station. There is a beautiful garden at the property, with amazing view of the mountains. Great place for morning coffee and evening wine.

  It was magical. it was everything we expected and more!

  Liked: It is a historic Villa. close to the center of town. walked everywhere. Loved sitting in the garden and looking at the mountains.

  Villa is very nice and spacious, lovely garden. Close to the town

  Disliked: Parking - we ended up with a ticket fined 20E - we were told by the owner that we should be okay parking opposite the villa. Clearly not! Had to wait half an hour in the police station to pay the bill. Please take note.
