  Very enjoyable stay with all fantastic amenities at a reasonable price

  Liked: The morning breakfast was great! The location was also fantastic, being just a short walk to shops and restaurants and only a 29 minute walk to the castle.

  Disliked: I arrived late and was unsure if I would be able to enter. A brief email explaining that someone would let me in would have eased my concern.

  Good location but needs clarifications of how get there

  Disliked: Don’t follow the GPS-instructions how to reach the the hotel by car. The hotel needs to clarify this before arrival.

  Liked: The owner is super friendly and helpful. He had a very diverse continental breakfast that was beyond expectations. During the summer months he also runs a restaurant just across the street. The location within Cochem was excellent as well. We were in easy walking distance to the river, great restaurants, hiking areas, and the route to Schoss Cochem. The room was clean with enough room and a large wardrobe and the bed was comfortable. We could not park on site, and it was a short walk to get to the underground parking. We had to park in a 3-hr spot, walk to the hotel, get the key and return to move the car, but overall, it was a short walk and a very safe location for the vehicle. The trip to Cochem made for an excellent anniversary weekend!

  Disliked: I heard from a friend who had been there before me how the parking situation worked, and that was very helpful. The address provided does get to the parking slots, but if there is not a spot in the underground parking, it is only for 3-hours so having the different parking locations on the edges of town listed would be helpful. But overall this was very minor and did not take away from the trip at all.

  Liked: The hotel was super convenient, right in the heart of the town square. We could easily walk to a ton of amazing restaurants and shops. We even made it to the Cochem Castle! The service was top-notch, and our breakfast was absolutely delicious!
