  Would stay here again, great choice

  Liked: The room had everything we needed, kitchen had all necessary appliances (we only had breakfast there); There was a IR heater in the kitchen as well (beside the bedroom and bathroom ones), so the apartment was very comfortable (the weather outside was cold). Location is very quiet, on the hill. Great for a bit of extra cardio after a day of walking in the city. The castle is visible from inside the apartment (also from the balcony). There is a locked garage where we stored our bicycles. The walk to the city is nice, can be done through the forest, or by the river, on the promenade. With the bicycle it's 10 minutes, so I'd go grab coffees and come back for breakfast.

  Quiet, bright, and comfortable

  Liked: The apartment was big, tip-top clean, with plenty of natural light in every room, and located in a quiet neighborhood. The city center is about a 20-minute walk away, depending on your pace. Nearby were a supermarket and a small chapel. As one reaches the promenade, there are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars to choose from. There is plenty to do for hikers, cyclists, and those with an adventurous heart! This was my first time to Cochem, but not the last one. If in my next trip this apartment is available, I will rent it again! The owner was friendly!

  Disliked: The vacation was too short.

  Great location, Great views, very comfortable. We'll be back!

  Liked: Friendly staff, super clean & spacious. Kitchen and bathroom was well stocked with basic amenities. Amazing view of the Cochem Castle from our balcony. (Photo attached) Public transportation and small grocery store available within 300 meters of our apartment. 5 minute drive to Cochem center, or 2 km walk along the river.

  Disliked: Parking was a little tight. (The dedicated parking stall for our apartment was taken our vacationing neighbor.) Free (private) parking was available on the owners second property approx. 200 meters away. We parked around the corner and walked up the hill. Parking outside the dedicated parking stalls in front of our building was allowed for loading and unloading only.

  Liked: It was clean, the two apartments we booked were close to each other.

  Disliked: The terrace in the pictures was not correct. You think you're getting a large isolated terrace with an amazing view. The reality is one of the apartments we booked did not have any terrace/balcony. The other had a very small balcony that's right next to the next apartment so when you're sitting there it's like you are sitting together with the next door people. From the pictures we thought we could enjoy the terrace with my friends but that did not happen.
