Liked: Everything, perfect location next to the water. The second balcony with view of the castle was a very nice addition!

Fantastic views, great location, pleasant place to stay

Liked: Location was excellent - far enough away not to be too busy, close enough for an easy walk. The views, particularly out the back balcony, were amazing.

Disliked: We were there during a heat wave and there was only one fan for three people staying there. It cooled down at night, but we had a lot of visitors in the evening when we kept the bathroom window open past dark for a short time one evening. Also, the description (there were at least two different descriptions, one which had this problem, the other that did not) mentioned a washing machine and there was none.

A pleasant stay in every way

Liked: - Spacious room and balcony, larger than expected from the photos - Extremely clean - Prime location, within walking distance of the center - The balcony view overlooks the whole of Cochem, with mountains and fields, which I personally preferred over the view from the very center - Had all the facilities we needed, and they were high quality - The host was punctual and communicated effectively

Disliked: There was nothing we truly disliked. One small suggestion: it would have been a nice touch to have a bottle of water or some small snacks prepared, as we had just traveled a long distance. 😊
