  If only the lift had worked, this would have been a very different experience

  Liked: Location: walking distance from train station and tram practically at door step, subway quite close as well. Space inside apartment: quite reasonable for a large city, accommodated suitcases and 3 adults without feeling claustrophobic Amenities: furniture in good condition, linen and towels fresh and clean, beds comfortable, including the extra bed; kitchenette as in photos, with basic cutlery, utensils, dish washing sponge, soap, a tablet for dishwasher, kitchen paper towel roll provided along with sufficient coffee facilities for a day or two; small soap, shampoo, bodywash in bathroom. Did not use stove top, hair dryer, tvs, only microwave, electric kettle, fridge. Staff: no direct contact, but they tried to help on phone and via booking.com

  Disliked: The lift was out of order, and apparently had been for a while. Did not see any efforts to repair over our 2N/3D stay. With a cardiac condition, climbing 4 floors up with luggage was not a joke, and completely messed our plans to use the hotel as a base for sightseeing since we could not come and go repeatedly. As this is an unmanned facility, no help is possible, and no prior intimation was given. One closet door with mirror just fell off its hinges; thankfully nobody was hurt, and it was repaired soon. The luggage lockers in check in area can't hold large suitcases, and although our request for a late checkout was granted, the room key got deactivated, although it let us in the building. Calling on phone a few times proved ineffective so had to go down to the lobby and call from their phone for assistance, leading to a very tense quareter of an hour when we kept wondering if we'd make our train or not. Would have been better to leave luggage at the train station locker.

  Very comfortable rooms with good amenities, not in the nicest city location, noisy, but convenient

  Liked: We had 2 rooms, both had very comfortable beds - the king size room was quite spacious and well fitted with all the kitchen amenities, the queen size room was quite snug and didn't have a dishwasher or fridge. But otherwise we were very happy with them. The overall communication was quite comprehensive and thorough and we got late checkout in one room. The location was within a 15 min walk of most city centre sites, with a U station 2 minutes away and lots of trams.

  Disliked: One bedroom was next to the road and it was very noisy - if you're a sensitive sleeper definitely take ear plugs. The back room was much quieter. The taxi driver who dropped us off told us this was a very dubious area with lots of drugs and drunks around and not to walk around at night! However we did go out for groceries quite late and although it wasn't the nicest district it was fine and we felt safe. Had a couple of minor issues - we sent a message about it but was told there was no one on site to help - it was a little frustrating not to see anyone around, everything was done through messages, key codes or screens.

Good to know

Our serviced apartments house offers a 24/7 service center, but no reception on site.

Please let us know your email address so that we can send you the check-in invitation. You will receive this no later than 4 days before your arrival.

We then ask you to carry out the web check-in. You will then receive a QR code with which you can easily create a key card for your apartment. Alternatively, you can also use our check-in terminal on site.

Your apartment will be available to you no later than 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.

For the sake of the environment, we only clean your apartment every 7 days. If you would like an intermediate cleaning for a fee or a change of towels, please contact us at any time.

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.

Please note that our French beds have a width of at least 55 in.

Unless otherwise agreed, check-out is at 11 a.m.

This property does not accommodate stag, hen or similar parties.

Smoking is prohibited in our apartment house out of consideration for other guests!
