  Good location, poor hotel

  Liked: Location, handy for train station

  Disliked: Was undergoing work. Wi-fi didn’t work, neither did the tv, no water in the room, only 1 x towel and it said it included breakfast, but it wasn’t available due to the construction work

  Exceptionally poor and disappointing. The hotel should not have been open for business

  Liked: The shower was good. The location to Messe was good.

  Disliked: The Hotel was a building site. It was unsafe and should not have been open. We paid for breakfast but it was not available due to the construction work. Under any other circumstances we would have cancelled our booking immediately upon arrival and checked into another hotel but given the Automechanika trade fair was on all other hotels were fully booked up. The state of the hotel was a disgrace as you can from the photographs. I am a regular user of Booking.com and I am asking you to contact the hotel and demand a full refund. This was not just a minor refurbishment - this was a full building site. I asked to see a Manager on several occasions and I was told there was no Manager on site and to send in an email. I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and to not have a Manager on site at any stage clearly shows they were fully aware the hotel should not have been open for business and were avoiding customers. This is simply unacceptable.

  Totally surprised at the renovations on arrival, but what can you do

  Liked: The newly furnished room was excellent.

  Disliked: Their was major building going on for the 5 days that I stayed there. The breakfast that was included in the price was unavailable due to the work being done.

Good to know

On weekends and public holidays, breakfast is available until 12:00.
