  Disliked: Severe contract breach, unsafe parking alternative, and zero customer support and empathy This booking was a clear breach of contract. We booked the accommodation specifically because it offered reserved parking, and we provided our car registration details in advance as requested. The booking was place through Booking.com However, after payment, the agency informed us that the parking was actually full. They directed us to a public parking area 200 meters away, which was entirely unsafe—crowded with rough sleepers, open drug use, and a high-risk environment where it was impossible to safely leave a high-value vehicle. After spending over an hour trying to find any secure parking in the area late at night, we had no choice but to leave and book alternative accommodation elsewhere for our family's safety. I have to mention though, we did not stay at this property at all, so we can’t review the conditions offered. When we contacted the agency to explain the situation, they completely stonewalled us. They refused to hear anything about it, showed total inflexibility, and point-blank refused to issue a refund despite failing to provide the essential amenities promised in the contract. Future travellers with vehicles should avoid this property completely. We feel so disappointed about the lack of empathy and understanding especially when it’s late in the night and traveling with a kid.

  Highly recommend the place

  Liked: The tidiness of the place, all the facilities available and the location a bit out of the centre but easily connected to it via the tram are what made our stay a very nice moment.

  Disliked: We had an unfortunate situation with the washing machine and the facility manager was ill so couldn’t repair it which was a shame since we needed it. However the staff offered to use the one at the reception

  Great family break with easy access to Schwarzwald places of interest

  Liked: Great location, easy access to trams and only a short ride into Freiburg. Bakeries and supermarket nearby. Very warm apartment. Good to have a washing machine.

  Disliked: Hob was temperamental, sink lacked a plug and pillows were really soft.

  Nice place, but unless I manage to book a parking spot in garage beforehand I would not come again

  Disliked: Parking is very limited. If needed one has to look for parking at nearby public parking. Some available on the streets, or paid parking up the road. It becomes a hassle with more luggage, as no option to quickly drop of luggage at reception and then park car. If car is left on opposite side of the road, there is no direct way to cross.

  Excellent value and comfortable stay. Extremely organised and clean. Fabulous apartment

  Liked: Extremely clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming, easy check in. Great bakery and coffee shop underneath. Lovely big spacious apartment and great extra bed for our daughter. Couldn’t fault the apartment

  Disliked: No parking left as limited parking on site so had to park up the road and walk up with our luggage and road very busy to cross with suitcases
