  A beautiful hotel for a great vacation

  Liked: The staff provided a wonderful welcome, and it was a pleasure speaking with Roger; I truly appreciated our pleasant conversations and the advice he offered. The room offered a beautiful view to wake up to.

  Disliked: Just the pillows, I'm not used to ones this soft.

  Lovely boutique hotel

  Liked: lovely quiet location with dinner options just a close walk away comfortable room and bed awesome breakfast wonderful front desk staff We were travelling with adult children and enjoyed the gathering room for some together time following our dinner. A nice touch

  Oasis in the heart of city

  Liked: Parking at the hotel and St parking free of charge. Several different sitting areas for families to hang out, kids to play, adults to have drinks, and quiet reading spots - something for everyone. Breakfast was delicious and had cute serving dishes making the experience all the better.

  We really enjoyed our stay. Also the wall to wall sunshine

  Liked: Lovely friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Quiet location in a residential area, just a 10 minute level stroll to the centre of town and a similar stroll to the train/bus station. We had a spacious family room overlooking the front garden with lovely mountain views. There is a small ‘honesty’ cupboard with drinks and snacks. We would have appreciated a little more choice.

  Disliked: The mattresses are very hard, which is fine for some, but we suffered with back pain until, after a few days, we came across a card in the room saying that soft toppers were available if we needed them. The staff added them to our beds on the same day and we were much more comfortable and very happy. It would have been really helpful if the card had been placed on the pillows or right next to the bed on our arrival so that we could have asked for the toppers straight away. As it was, it was tucked underneath another card about room cleaning and we missed it.
