  NO BED! RUDE HOST!

  Liked: Only one thing good about the property - very close to the train station

  Disliked: THE ROOM HAS NOOO BED!!! THE HOST IS VERY RUDE!! I had a very bad experience with the host. First for some unknown reason the host didn't know how to deduct money from my Indian card so I had to first go get the amount in cash and then pay the amount to the host's Daughter at a far location. This wasted my 40mins, first had to walk 2 Kms and then wait there for 15mins till the daughter arrived. She didn't even bring the keys with her. To get the apartment keys I had to go to another place ~3Km away. In total this whole thing took away 2 hours of my time. I understand that the host has been honest and upfront about the check in process but it is not nice because both paying cash and taking keys could have happened at one place at the same time. Now the horror begins. We enter the apartment, it is on the 2nd floor and there is NO BED in the room. There is a SOFA that needs to be changed to a BED. When I booked the place the host posted misleading photos which got me to believe that there is a BED too, she later changed the photos after I complained. I thoroughly read the description there was no mention of a SOFA bed. Sure the cost is less compared to other hotels/places but you are paying hidden costs here: 1) No BED 2) attic portion of the entire construction will obstruct your sleeping area and your bathing area. 3) you cannot take a bath here, no place to stand 4) you can't even shit properly with the fear of the top wall hitting your head 10mins after I entered the apartment I told the host to deduct one night of payment and refund us the remaining 3 days of money but she straight out refused without any reason. Even before we moved in the apartment, she has some attitude that you cannot call her to ask anything - it is like she is doing you a favour by answering your calls. As guests moving in you would have basic questions about which floor, which door number is this apartment, how to get there by public transport.

  Basic facilities. Central location but inconvenient check-in. Why can’t they organise a lockbox or code on site like eve

  Liked: Great spot in town near train and shops

  Disliked: Very inconvenient Checkin at office 1.5 km from apartment. Pretty annoying when you choose something close to a station because you are catching a train. Unhelpful manager. Not enough toilet paper. No Netflix.

  Liked: Location was excellent close to city center but still calm. Very decent apartment.

  Disliked: Upon arrival, it was rather difficult to get in touch with the host, and then to get instructions for the keys. Upon arrival in the accommodation, it appeared that there was not sufficient bed sheets for all the registered guests. When I contacted the host to discuss the problem, they did not believe me, and basically told me that they would not manage to get extra sheets for the first night. Extra sheets were delivered for the next day, without any decent communication from their end. In short, vacation should be relaxing, but they gave me quite some extra stress, which I don't really appreciate on my holiday.

  Quiet location close to Bahnhof. Pull out sofa only, no bed. NO wash machine in Apt. as promised

  Liked: We loved the little kitchen, the location so close to the train station and tourist information, and the view from our window. Whenever we contacted the host we were answered right away. The skylights in the kitchen were especially nice for light and air flow, even on a rainy day. We liked the bus pass for visitors which was good for a wide area.

  Disliked: I was expecting a bedroom plus a sofa bed- I should have studied the booking site better. The sofa bed was actually very comfortable with a lovely view of a mountain out the window. More importantly, the booking site clearly says, "each unit comes with... a washing machine...". We arrived to find out that a shared washing machine was in the basement and required coins to operate. In addition, there was no apparent way to open the wash machine door. Luckily, another renter showed me a lever in an odd location on the unit, used to open the machine door. She said she only knew how because her mother had such a wash machine. Sharing one machine in the basement meant many trips up and down two flights of stairs with my laundry, since I did not wish to leave my laundry unattended, and the machine was being used already. There was a dryer in the basement, which I had not expected, but it did not dry the clothes very well and took a long time. Once again requiring many trips more to the basement. One detail- there was ONE roll of toilet paper provide for two people for a week's stay! Also, we were instructed to sort our trash into bins at the curb, but it was unclear which to use for what, and no extra bags for trash were provided. Also, when we went to pay the balance of our bill, we had a WIFI charge added unexpectedly.
