  lovely quite place but too smoky for me, hosts were polite, breakfast was good beautiful

  Liked: Location is great of you don't mind being away from the main part of garmisch-partenkirchen Breakfast was good Room was good size

  Disliked: For me it was too far away from where I wanted to be reach day adding at least another hour to days travel. Buses are relatively close but don't run often esp on weekends. I had a non smoking room however this guest house smelt of smoke regardless and as a non-smoker made me feel sick if you're not into cigarette smoke I would suggest going somewhere else but this is not a concern for everyone it's just a personal observation

  The only place we’ve ever stayed more than once

  Liked: We are NOT shoppers. We enjoy everything outside. Gästehaus Maria is perfect as our base for everything we do and it’s not so close to the Marktplatz that noise is an issue.

  Disliked: The ONLY downside is that we had to leave.

  Excellent classic B&B style accommodation in quiet area

  Liked: Nice big rooms, well furnished. Very good breakfast. Great location, quiet but in walking distance to all needs. Friendly hosts.

  Disliked: Really nothing to complain. Lights on the balcony would be nice to allow sitting/reading after dark.
